
"Reading is everywhere!" so at Flint Hill we are wearing clothing with (kind) words tomorrow and our Book Fair spirit week continues.


Flint Hill will recognize all of our "sweet" teachers and staff members tomorrow. Thursday, 5/4/23. Students are invited to bring a "sweet treat" or a "sweet note" to their favorite staff member(s).


We are celebrating our SUPER staff and teachers at Flint Hill this week. Tomorrow is "Superheroes need SUPER tools" day. Honor a favorite staff member by bringing their favorite school supply.


Wednesday is Sports Day at Flint Hill as we celebrate our champion readers! Students and staff are invited to wear their favorite sports or team gear.

Fifth grade starts their MAP testing tomorrow, Wednesday, 5/3. Please make sure your child has a good night's sleep, a healthy breakfast, and is present for testing.


FHE's Book Fair spirit week continues tomorrow with Animal Day because we are "Wild about reading!" Wear a shirt with animals or your favorite animal print.

#FZSupt As part of the state's new report cards for schools, Fort Zumwalt is Mapping Our Future. Throughout the 2022-2023 school year, Jennifer Waters, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, and Dr. Paul Myers, Superintendent-Elect, have led the steering committee for the district's Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP). Incoming #FZSupt shares an overview of the process so far and what comes next. Together Myers and Waters explain "the big buckets," priority items facing the district. The document, which will outline the district's goals for the next three to five years, is due to the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education this summer.

Flint Hill will welcome Musial Moments, an innovative program fostering civility, respect, and selflessness among young people throughout the St. Louis region, inspired by the great Cardinal player, Stan Musial, on Friday, 4/28. Let's wear our Cardinal gear to get in the spirit!


FHE STEAM Night is Thursday, 5/4/23, from 6-7:30 PM. We hope you can join us for lots of learning and fun as we explore Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math! Our art show and choir performance will be a part of this event. Food trucks will be on the playground.


Next year's Flint Hill kindergarten students who are already enrolled are invited to participate in our Kindergarten Transition Night on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, from 6:30-7:30 PM. Not enrolled yet? There is still time! Contact the office for all the details!

Flint Hill Firebird Fitness Family Fun Day was a hit! Students, siblings, and families participated in carnival games, face painting, the Bubble Bus, an obstacle course, balloon art, and reading to therapy dogs. Five students won the chance to put a pie in Mrs. Redding's face! Thanks to the committee who put this event together and to all staff and parent volunteers!
