Student Council is bringing their Principal for the Day raffle back to Flint Hill. Students can buy tickets for $0.25 each. When a student's name is drawn, that child will get to work with Mrs. Redding as the "principal" for the day. See the photos below for all of the details or contact Mrs. Cevasco, jcevasco@fz.k12.mo.us.

What is Principal of the Day?

Principal of the day is a fun event that we do to let students have a chance to feel what it would be like to be the Principal. They will announce the winner on the announcements in the morning. Each ticket cost 25 cents. The more tickets students buy the more chances they’ll get. The student who is Principal of the day will get privileges such as having a badge, eating lunch in a special place, and sit in the wheeled chair, and many more.

How do the kids enter and win?

Well, first the kids would have to ask their parent/guardian to enter the raffle. If they say yes the cost would be 25 cents, per ticket. The money raised will go towards buying items for the school.

If a kid’s name gets drawn then the Principal will announce it during the morning announcements.

What do students get if they win?

If the kids win they will be able to have lunch in a special place. They will also be able to run errands and help do the announcements. The Principal for the Day will also do miscellaneous other tasks.

What does Student Council do with the money raised?

With the money we earn, we will add things to our outdoor classroom like:

  • Koi pond

  • Bird bath

  • Flower garden

  • Area for supplies

  • Various things needed by the school…playground sunshade, floor mats, etc

Thank you for spending time with student council! We hope you liked our presentation. Have a wonderful day. Thank you so much.
