Our creative first graders brought the magic of the Macy’s Parade right into Flint Hill! Inspired by the book Balloons Over Broadway, students designed and crafted their very own parade balloons and proudly showcased them in our hallways.

What do our teachers do during Early Release days?
During Early Release, our teachers are hard at work engaging in vertical teaming, where grade levels collaborate across the building to strengthen instruction and ensure consistency from grade to grade.
Today’s focus was on fractions; teachers met to discuss standards, share strategies, and align best practices to support student understanding. This collaboration helps ensure that every Firebird has a strong foundation and smooth progression as they move through each grade level.
Our teachers are always learning, growing, and working together to do what’s best for kids!
