All members of the Flint Hill Elementary community strive to be models of good character, upholding the vision of the school’s core values and communicating this vision through positive interactions with students, staff members, parents, and others. One of the most visible displays of this interaction involves family and community member participation in the parent-teacher council (PTC).

Like most schools, Flint Hill Elementary maintains an active PTC as a way to provide the families of our students with a voice to speak on behalf of every child and the best tools to help their children be safe, healthy, and successful — in school and in life. The mission of the Flint Hill PTC is to establish and nurture a close relationship between the parents, teachers, and students by advancing opportunities in the home, school, and community of the school.

The PTC provides assistance to teachers in classroom settings, raises funds for supplemental educational materials and experiences, supports school and family social interaction, and provides a non-biased forum for sharing information on issues that impact our children. It is our belief that the team effort of a parent-teacher council offers the best possible learning environment for our children.
