Solar Eclipse
solar eclipse
August 21, 2017, is a day that will go down in history for Fort Zumwalt! As you are aware, we are in the direct path of the solar eclipse.  The partial eclipse will begin at 11:48 with the maximum eclipse occurring at 1:16.  We will celebrate this special event with STEAM activities throughout the building that day. Safety glasses have been purchased for all students to safely view the eclipse.  In light of this unique day, we want families to be aware of the options.  If you plan to celebrate with your child(ren) off-campus, please let the office know your plans. Parents are welcome to come to school during viewing times to enjoy the eclipse with your child.  Parents may also choose to have their child "opt out" of viewing the eclipse.  We will make alternate arrangements for these students at the school.
